Blu is a peer-to-peer micro-donation platform designed to facilitate small, transparent charitable donations directly between individuals. The Platform allows:
- Donors to browse verified individuals in need and donate.
- Recipients to receive a single donation per cycle and move to the end of the queue.
- Users to interact using swiping, matching, and donation features based on location, categories, and personal stories.
8. Accounts and User Obligations
To access most features, you must create an account.
8.1 Account Creation
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
8.2 Account Restrictions
You may not:
- Create more than one account unless authorized.
- Use the Platform for any illegal or fraudulent activity.

9. Donations
All donations on Blu are:
- Voluntary and non-refundable.
- Sent directly from donor to recipient, minus a 5% platform fee (includes card processing and operational expenses).
- Not tax-deductible unless otherwise stated (see Section 15).
We reserve the right to withhold or reverse transactions in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or technical error.
10. User Content
You may upload text, photos, or other content when requesting or giving support.
You agree:
- You have the rights to share the content.
- Content is truthful and not misleading.
- You grant Blu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, use, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform.
11. Fraud Prevention and Verification
To maintain trust and safety:
- Recipients may be required to verify identity and link a social profile.
- We may analyze your account and behavior using automated or manual methods to detect fraud.
- Fraudulent accounts will be removed, and funds may be withheld.
12. Fees and Payment Processing
Blu charges a 5% fee on each donation. This includes:
- Payment processor fees.
- Platform maintenance.
- Fraud prevention and compliance costs.
We use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) to facilitate donations. You must comply with their terms and policies.
13. Platform Rules
To ensure fairness and safety:
- Recipients may only receive one donation at a time and are queued afterward.
- Donors must not demand goods, services, or returns for donations.
- Users must not harass, spam, or exploit others on the Platform.
Violation may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
